Event Production

With over seven years of experience as an event professional, I've worked on a multitude of events across industries including corporate tech, music, pro sports, & more. A self-described bright-eyed and bushy-tailed individual with a creative approach to challenges who performs with grace under pressure.

My journey into event management began in college when I discovered a passion in helping to plan the water ski tournaments and rock climbing competitions I was a part of. Integrating my minor in art and my love for design, I found joy in creating experiences that brought people together, fostered community, and made lasting memories. Combined with an insatiable curiosity for how things work, I was hooked.

Post college I started my career at George P. Johnson Experience Marketing in San Francisco, working on Salesforce's annual conference, Dreamforce, the second largest tech event in the world. After several enriching years full time on the project, I decided to travel & pursue my passion for festival production in the music industry. This led me to work on festivals across California as well as events in Costa Rica & Mexico.

 

Over the last year, I've realized that my unique blend of experiences across different industries enhances my skills as a producer. The scrappiness or resourcefulness you sometimes need to thrive on a music festival site translates to creative problem solving in corporate events while the professionalism needed working in big Pharma brings a level of organization that benefits an event in the creative field.

 

As a freelancer, I relish the diversity of each project. An opportunity to meet new people, learn new things, and sit next to new people at catering. Each event presents its own set of unique challenges to learn from and a lively team of people adding to the success of the show, bringing the vision to life.
